Nude Collar

I can't think of anything to say for this post. Um. I really need to put an elastic waist in this skirt; I'm so lazy that even though it is at least two times my size, I just belt it instead of trying to make it my size. I also apologize for my bangs being all wonky in this post. They've been acting very strange recently. Anyway, that's all I have right now.

Here is my simplest little black dress. I always try to layer it with something interesting so it's not so boring, so I figured, why not a little crop-top and vintage belt?
Paired with the black studded combat books, the ripped tights, the high pony-tail, and the excessive amount of black eyeliner/eyeshadow I think I successfully made this bandage dress look edgy.
To combat the boring-ness of the usual photo-shooting area, I had a little fun with photoshop inspired by some of my favorite fashion bloggers.

Just going to point out- I actually made the collage for the last one on Mixel on our ipad and it took forever. However, 'twas worth it, seeing the results.
I love this whole making a new background for a picture/duplicating yourself. I've seen quite a few bloggers do this, and I'm loving this new trend.
Here are some of my favorites. Mostly of Jessica Virgin, because of her mad photo-shopping skills.
Anyway, I've been feeling pretty inspired by all of this, so expect to see more interesting pictures soon :).

Floral Themed Journal Entry

Recently (as of April 1st) I started a new journal. That wouldn't be note-worthy, as I've had a "diary" as it were, since 4th grade. However, I decided this journal or "diary" is differnt. It is less word oriented; a much more visual approach to journals (being inspired by 1000 Artists Journal Entries) so, unlike normal people, I made it a goal. I immediately thought "I should start a journal again, OH MY GOD I SHOULD WRITE IN A JOURNAL EVERY DAY FOR A YEAR!" Typical me... Anyway, I'm not exactly writing in it every day, I could just do a quick sketch or put in my bart ticket from going to the city, you get the idea.
Anyway, this is one of the few. The first is mine and the next few are the inspiration for it (which I found on Tumblr (there are links underneath the pictures).
Alright, lovelies. See you soon (I have a bunch of OOTD posts ready)

Butterflies in the garden

My cousin and I went to my aunt's house in Santa Cruz, where we went to the beach and did a photo shoot.
My cousin and I had spent the day before painting fabrics with our own designs and these are the products. The fruits of our labor. Okay, I hope you enjoy!
Thanks to Lise for these lovely photos! <3 <3 <3
Again, sorry it's been such a long time since the last post, and I try to buy back your love after your qualmy feelings of emptyness in my week of absence, by saying..hey, I updated my Tumblr...?  Here's a link. <--- Click that.
Also I made a new Tumblr dedicated solely to eyes, because I LOVE eyes. Anyway, here's the link to meye eye blog (heh, did you see what I did there?) CLICK THIS.

I know I've been wildly absent of late, and I sincerely apologize for my sporadic posts from random points in time.
To make up for it here is a playlist of songs I've been listening to recently as well as a bunch of pictures from when I went with my family to cut down our Christmas tree, which I don't believe I ever shared with you...whoops.

Songs I've Been Listening To:
Somebody That I Used to Know- Gotye  (Not to be "that girl", but I knew this BEFORE it was popular..soo..)
Creature Fear- Bon Iver (Going to see them in concert in two weeks! SO EXCITED)
At the Bottom of Everything- Bright Eyes
Hey Man (Now You're Really Living)- Eels
Wraith Pinned to the Mist and Other Games- of Montreal (heard this on Pandora about 4 months ago, and have been trying to find it ever since (didn't write anything down, of course) and then I saw the CD in Rasputin and recognized the cover art (how could you not) and HAD to buy it)
Body in a Box- City and Colour
White Winter Hymnal- Fleet Foxes
Cubism Dream- Local Natives
Silver Tiles- Matt & Kim
Dance, Dance, Dance- Lykke Li (On a CD my friend made me, I LOVE THIS SONG)
Ne Me Quitte Pas- Regina Spektor (On above CD, as well, but also heard on Pandora)
Loose Lips- Kimya Dawson (I can honestly sing every single word to this this speed)
Nobody Knows Me At All- The Weepies (depressing, but lovely)
Sorry if you look at my Tumblr and have already seen some of these, I tried not to repeat, but these are the songs I've been listening to of late, so some are repeats.
Alright lovelies,
